Experience an evening of jazz in downtown Kalamazoo with Sounds of the Zoo: Jazz Night at Crawlspace Comedy Theatre during 269 Fest!

As part of the 2026 Sounds of the Zoo festival, Jazz Night brings together local musicians and music lovers for an evening celebrating jazz and its many influences. Sounds of the Zoo showcases local, regional, national and international talent at venues throughout Kalamazoo while celebrating diverse voices, musical styles and the community that connects them.

The evening kicks off with After Ours at 6 PM, followed by Brandon Fitzpatrick & The Element at 7:30 PM and the WMU Latin Jazz Ensemble at 9 PM. Stop by for a set or spend the whole evening discovering some of the incredible musical talent right here in Kalamazoo.
