Kick off an evening of laughter with My Mother and the Michigan/Ohio War, a hilarious new comedy presented by Farmers Alley Theatre during 269 Fest.

Written and directed by Paul Stroili, the play follows Izzy, a newly widowed Michigan matriarch, as she recruits her Wolverine daughter and Buckeye son to fulfill her late husband’s dream of staging a full-scale reenactment of the historic Michigan–Ohio War. The result is a witty, heartfelt comedy filled with family rivalry, football pride, and plenty of laughs.

As one of the featured theatre experiences during 269 Fest, this production offers audiences a chance to enjoy professional live theatre while celebrating the creativity and culture that make Kalamazoo unique.
