Experience one of classical music’s most exciting emerging talents as The Gilmore Rising Stars Series presents pianist Sophia Liu during 269 Fest.

At just 17, Liu is already building an international career, performing with leading orchestras and earning top prizes at prestigious piano competitions around the world. Her Kalamazoo recital offers an opportunity to hear a remarkable young pianist at the beginning of what promises to be an extraordinary career.

The program will feature works by Alkan, Chopin, Tchaikovsky and Balakirev, showcasing both the virtuosity and artistry that have earned Liu international recognition.
