Kick off a week of live music in Kalamazoo with Sounds of the Zoo at The Clover Room!

As part of the 2026 Sounds of the Zoo festival, this evening brings together live music, creative connection and a behind-the-scenes look at Kalamazoo’s music community. Sounds of the Zoo showcases a diverse mix of local, regional, national and international talent while bringing music to venues throughout the city.

The evening begins with an open house at Jerico, followed by a “Preparing to Record” session at La Luna Recording & Sound with Parker Freeman. Then, head to The Clover Room for a Singer in the Round performance featuring Erin Monroe, Jacob McLeod and Benna, followed by a Featured Spotlight with Matt Gross & Friends.

Come for one event or make an evening of it as Sounds of the Zoo kicks off another week of music, creativity and community during 269 Fest.
